Comfort in discomfort (type of conversation)

• It’s ok that the conversation won’t turn out to be your favorite
• It will give you information that you need
• The end goal doesn’t have to be agreement

Language focus

• Ask for clarification and get more explanation from the other side
  • What I am hearing is …
  • What I understand is…
• Ask for advices
  • Let me flip that question around, what would you advice in that situation?
